After years of participation in conventional sports like soccer, baseball, basketball, and lacrosse, I discovered cycling to be my true athletic passion in the fall of 2004. Consequently, I joined the Nor Cal High School MTB Series to satisfy my competitive nature and further establish my niche in bike racing. Since then, I have taken to road racing as well, and have found the lack of dependence on my prone-to-breaking mountain bike quite satisfying. My current goals are to upgrade road categories as fast as possible as well as succeed in both mountain and road disciplines in collegiate cycling next year.
